Whether you’re planning for a Galentine’s Day brunch or a Valentine’s Day date, strawberries are always a perfect option for the occasion. This Valentine’s Day martini is not your typical martini because it includes fresh strawberries and Lillet. I also prefer my martinis with gin but you can make these with vodka as well.

BrüMate
If you want to keep these martini’s perfectly cold, I would highly recommend using these beautiful BrüMate Margtini cups. They’re stylish, easy to pair with a beautiful Valentine’s Day charcuterie board, and they keep your drinks extra cold for hours. BrüMate also has a fantastic shaker that will chill your cocktails and can be used as a travel mug.
Tools
For this drink you’ll need a cocktail shaker and a muddler. Muddling is a way to release the flavors of fruits and herbs in cocktails. It’s a fast and easy way to infuse your cocktails with fresh flavors.
If you don’t have a muddler you can use the end of a wooden spoon however, a muddler is a great inexpensive bar tool to have at home. In the summertime I love experimenting with fresh fruits and herbs that I grow in my garden.
Don’t have a shaker? You can use a metal coffee travel mug and a fine mesh strainer.
