Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries chopped
  • ½ cup edible rose petals
  • 1 teaspoon edible glitter

Instructions

  • Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Add chopped strawberries and edible rose petals to the saucepan. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until flavors infuse.
  • Remove from heat. Strain the syrup using a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or jar.
  • Optionally, add edible glitter to the strained syrup for a touch of magic.
  • Cool the syrup to room temperature, then transfer it to a glass jar or bottle.
  • Seal and refrigerate. The syrup can be stored for up to two weeks.
