Key Lime Pie Shots Recipe
A delicious, dessert-inspired party shot made with vanilla vodka, RumChata, and tart key lime juice, finished with a graham cracker crust rim.
- 3.5 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 3.5 oz RumChata chilled
- 1 oz Key Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp Graham Cracker crumbs for rimming
- 1 Lime wedge for rimming
- Whipped cream for garnish
- 4 mini Key lime wedges for garnish
Prep the Glasses: Run a lime wedge around the rims of 4 shot glasses. Dip each glass firmly into the graham cracker crumbs on a small plate until the rim is completely coated.
Fill the Shaker: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with fresh ice cubes.
Add Liquids: Pour in the vanilla vodka, chilled RumChata, and key lime juice over the ice.
Shake it Up: Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker gets completely frosty.
Strain and Serve: Pour the mixture evenly through the strainer into your prepared shot glasses.
Garnish: Top each shot with a dollop of whipped cream, a tiny sprinkle of extra graham cracker crumbs, and slide a mini key lime wedge onto the rim. Serve immediately.
