Pear and Ginger Margarita Recipe

Ingredients

tequila

triple sec

fresh lime juice

ginger syrup

Ice
for shaking
Pear slice or candied ginger
for garnish (optional)
Ginger Syrup
1
cup
water
1
cup
sugar
½
cup
fresh ginger
peeled and sliced
Instructions
Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and ginger syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a pear slice or candied ginger, if desired.
Ginger Syrup
Combine water, sugar, and ginger in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar dissolves, then simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
Strain, cool, and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
