Pina Colada Trifle
Ingredients
- 4 slices of pound cake
- 4 tablespoons rum
- 4 tablespoons simple syrup
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon rum optional
- 1 cup chopped pineapple fresh or canned
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut sweetened or unsweetened
Instructions
- Dip pound cake in the rum and simple syrup mixture.
- Make the whipped cream with heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and a dash of rum.
- Layer the cake, chopped pineapple, shredded coconut, and whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers until the glass is full.
- Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
