Pumpkin Martini

Ingredients

For the cocktail

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz cream liqueur
  • 1/2 oz pumpkin syrup
  • maple syrup and graham cracker crumbs for the rim

For the syrup

  • 1.5 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

For the cocktail

  • Start by rimming your glass with maple syrup and graham cracker crumbs.
  • Set the glass aside and fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add in two ounces of vanilla vodka, one ounce of cream liqueur, and half an ounce of your homemade pumpkin spice syrup.
  • Shake the mixture well and then pour it into the rimmed glass.

For the pumpkin syrup

  • Combine brown sugar, water, pumpkin purée, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan and heat over medium heat.
  • Once the syrup has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
  • Store it in the fridge for up to two weeks.
