Spicy Pumpkin Margarita

Ingredients

For the cocktail

  • 2 oz habanero infused tequila
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz pumpkin syrup*

For the syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie syrup

Instructions

For the cocktail

  • Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake well, then strain the drink into a glass, ideally over ice.
  • Garnish with a wedge of lime and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.

For the syrup

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan and simmer for 25-30 minutes until syrup is thick and all sugar is dissolved.
  • Store in air right container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
