No Halloween party or evening at home would be complete without a Halloween cocktail. Candy Halloween cocktails are even better. Not everyone is a fan of the candy corn flavor but if you love it as much as I do then you will enjoy this one.
The key ingredient in this glowing orange cocktail is the candy corn vodka. This is not something that you buy at the liquor store, you have to make it at home. But don’t worry, it’s incredibly easy to make with just two ingredients – vodka and candy corn.

How to infuse vodka
To infuse the vodka you just need to add the ingredient you will be infusing it with to a jar or air tight container. The longer you allow the vodka to infuse, the more flavor it will have. However with candy infusions like this one, the sugar will dissolve in the vodka rather quickly. If you don’t have 24 hours to make this infusion you can definitely get away with making it in just a few hours and straining out any remaining candy corn pieces.

What type of vodka to use
You can really use any type of vodka you have. I used Crystal Head Skull vodka because it just seems so fitting for Halloween. I would not recommend trying to swap vodka for gin in this recipe. The botanicals in gin will likely not blend well with the sweet candy corn.

What is Licor 43?
Licor 43 is a sweet vanilla liqueur that is produced in Spain. If you can’t find this liqueur you can substitute with a vanilla syrup. If you like Licor 43 try this Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew Cocktail.
How to make honey syrup
Like most syrups, it’s much easier than you might think! For honey syrup just add equal parts honey and equal parts water to a microwave safe container and microwave for about 1 minute. Stir until the honey is dissolved. You can also get creative with different types of honey for more complex flavors.
If you have extra honey syrup try this Cucumber Lavender Gin Gimlet or a Peach and Basil Bourbon Smash.
