Happy National Margarita Day!
Margaritas are my all time favorite cocktail so I’m very glad someone decided that we needed to all celebrate its greatness.
To make the perfect margarita, you absolutely need very good tequila and fresh lime juice. From there, you can really play with so many flavors like watermelon or pineapple. I’ll be linking and doing a round up of my favorites here on the blog very soon so be sure to check back!

In celebration of National Margarita Day, I’ve decided to toast with a Kiwi Margarita.
Kiwis are probably one of the most underrated fruits in the produce section. They look like hairy rocks but they are tangy, sweet and the perfect snack.
Hot Tip: To properly eat a ripe kiwi, slice in half and scoop out with a spoon. You’re welcome.
For tequila, I chose a blanco by Tequila Tromba. It was smooth and bright without overpowering the whole drink. I also highly recommend using Twang-a-Rita Rimming Salts to pack even more flavor into every sip.
What is your favorite margarita flavor?
