When I saw that Dunkin’ had created a new sugar plum macchiato this year for the holiday season, I knew that I had to try and make it into a cocktail. The sugar plum macchiato is a blend of berry flavors with hints vanilla and of course, coffee.
To make this coffee drink into a cocktail I included several different liqueurs and syrups to replicate these flavors. It’s a longer list than usual but I think it turned out to be the perfect holiday treat. This would be a great drink for a holiday brunch Christmas morning.

Substitutions
If you don’t have some of these liqueurs available, you may be able to substitute with infusions or syrups. For example, plum vodka may not be easy to find so a plum infused vodka could be a good alternative. Just place a sliced plum into a jar of vodka and allow to sit overnight.
Non-Alcohlic Version
If you would like to make an alcohol-free version of this drink – use syrups instead of liqueurs. Muddle plums for the plum flavor to replace the vodka, raspberry syrup in place of chambord, cream in place of cream liqueur, and sweetened coffee in place of the coffee liqueur.
